We are delighted to present this beautiful, self-sufficient organic finca in one of the most impressive locations in the Sierra de las Nieves area.

The finca is located 10 minutes from Ardales, a village connected to the motorway to Malaga, approximately one hour from the airport.

Access to the property is via a 2 km country lane from the road. Upon arrival at the property, you will find a charming house built in 2002 with taste and attention to detail. The main entrance leads to a hallway from which you can access a spacious and bright bedroom on the right and a well-proportioned bathroom on the left. Opposite the bathroom are wooden stairs leading to an attic with a sleeping area and a storage room where one of the water tanks is located.

Going down the stairs and at the end of the corridor, you reach the bright, cosy and well-proportioned kitchen-diner with a wood-burning stove. From here, you can access the large terrace with a barbecue area, where you can enjoy spectacular views, with a beautiful swimming pool and relaxation area.

From here, across the garden, you reach a tool shed, where the septic tank is also located underground. This shed was previously used as a guest room, so it is assumed that it could be used for this purpose again.

A small stone path leads down to a charming cave house with a kitchen, living/dining room, studio-style beds and a separate bathroom, with access to a terrace with stunning views, ideal for unwinding from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Above the cave there is another terrace area with a removable swimming pool and space for sunbathing during the summer. The owners have rented it out as a rural holiday home with great success in recent years as it has its own entrance, which leads directly to the door, ensuring privacy and independence.

Finca Puerto Alto is a natural setting that has been minimally altered by humans, maintaining the natural balance of the environment. A true ecological paradise, it has its own orchard with local trees such as olive, holm oak, lemon, orange, pistachio, and more.

The estate is self-sufficient as it has its own solar panel installation and access to well water through a pumping system that feeds several tanks distributed throughout the estate.
